Final Fantasy X - Visiting Crusaders Camp

As Joe and I try to do every weekend or every other weekend, we planned to get together tonight to play some games and catch up on things. It was a long week for both of us, but we congregated for the sake of gaming none the less. Continuing the FFX story at Myths house, we make our way through the rest of Mi'ihen Highroad. This led to a Crusaders camp where we could rent a Chocobo.



In order to get all the items, we walked all the way to the end of a southeastern road and then also took a Chocobo there. One of the items accessible by Chocobo was the Mars Crest which is used to unlock someone's Ultimate Weapon.

Once past the Crusaders camp, we traveled through Mushroom Rock. This is where things got a little slow. Myth and I cat napped intermittently as we traversed this section. I hope we got all the chests and hidden items ;)

 We pwned (killed with extreme prejudice) the Sinspawn at the Command Center and received 6 Level 1 Key Spheres by rotating all players into the battle. 

At this point, I fell asleep again while Joe finished up the storyline at the beach. After reaching the save sphere that felt like it would never come, we saved and called it a night. 

 This was one night I was dreading packing up my PC and driving home. Although it was great realizing that with my new work schedule I did not have to work early in the morning.

Final Fantasy XII - Hunting in Paramina Rift

Good evening, and welcome to this blog version of a Let's Play for Final Fantasy XII. I am very excited tonight because I have not blogged a game session in a while, and I am looking forward to it. We are continuing our playthrough of Final Fantasy XII, which is a fantastic game, by the way. One of the things I love about Final Fantasy XII it feels like this massive open game, like Final Fantasy XI the (an MMO). The monsters are already visible on screen, so there are no random encounters. The maps, zones, and camera all have a similar feel to FFXI as well. Another cool feature is that if you want to play tactically, the game pauses each time you start to select an action for a character. While paused, you still have control to spin the camera around the character or switch to another character for their point of view on the battle, and to select from their actions.  The version of the game we are playing is  Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Final Fantasy XII - Tracking Down the Draklor Laboratory

Good evening, and welcome to this blog version of a Let's Play for Final Fantasy XII. Joe and I get together a few times a month to play our favorite games, usually including a game from the Final Fantasy series. The game of choice lately has been Final Fantasy XII (FFXII). Last game session we explored the Stillshrine of Mariam. It was a fun dungeon with secret rooms, puzzles, and fun battles. We finished up the night with 6 new Hunts. Joe and I agree right away that we are going to kick off tonight sessions by looking into a few of these Hunts. Hunts In FFXII there are special quests called Hunts. These are typically picked up at either the Notice Boards posted in most restaurants/bars or from the leader of the Clan Hall, Montblanc.
